Justin Scalise, PRA

Certified and teaching Patsy Rodenburg's work since 2017, Justin is also an award-winning actor, with a strong focus in Shakespeare and the classics, from Aeschylus and Aphra Behn to Wilde and Williams. He is a graduate of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and the British American Drama Academy’s program at Oxford University, including master classes with John Barton, Fiona Shaw, et al.
Justin’s extensive professional experience in Shakespeare has ranged from Romeo to Caliban, Bottom to Hamlet - the latter which he produced and performed in Austin’s Boggy Creek Cemetery, received the city’s B. Iden Payne Award for Best Lead Actor, and was nominated next to Al Pacino and Sir Derek Jacobi for an international Falstaff Award.
Justin is an Associate Actor and Teacher for both Austin Shakespeare and The Hidden Room theatre company, and he is a conference-presenting member of VASTA.
